Ankush Nijhawan is a travel industry veteran and a co-founder of TBO.com. TBO.com is a leading global travel distribution platform that aims to simplify travel for both experienced and new customers.

TBO.com is a global platform that aims to simplify all buying and selling travel needs of travel partners across the world. The company was founded in 2006 and has grown to become one of the leading global travel distribution platforms with products ranging from air, hotels, rail, holiday packages, car rentals, transfers, sightseeing, cruise, and cargo.

The company uses proprietary technology, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to connect the highly distributed travel buyers and travel suppliers at scale. The company is in IPO registration and has raised five financing rounds from private equity investors. The company has over 147,000 travel buyers across more than 100 countries and millions of travel suppliers globally. The company has a team of 1,800 employees and is headquartered in Gurgaon, India.

"My advice to entrepreneurs in the travel industry is that besides focusing on talent and technology, preserving and respecting capital reserves is the secret sauce to success."

In this interview, Mr. Nijhawan advises entrepreneurs aspiring to enter the travel world to be in it for the long term, because success in the industry is all about building global networks and trustworthy partner relationships.
